P7 Home Edition
Updated April 2025 – The Practice Test section has been added to all P7 SEAG Practice Papers 1-18, and all answers now have explanations.
Originally released in 2023, our SEAG Practice Papers (P7 Home Edition) follow on from our P6 Home Edition Practice Papers and have longer comprehensions and more difficult maths questions. They are similar in difficulty to the two sample papers provided by the SEAG and are therefore ideal to use during P7 in the weeks and months leading up to the actual test in November.

✓ NOT used by Schools – Schools that order from us use our completely different sets of ‘School Edition‘ Practice Papers.
✓ Format of Actual Test – All papers follow the SEAG’s Format & Specification for their Entrance Assessment.
✓ Practice Test section included – All papers have the ‘English Practice Test’ and ‘Maths Practice Test’ sections before the ‘Main Test’.
✓ Answers provided with explanations – All answers are provided with an explanation on why it is the correct answer.

Format
The Practice Test (10 questions)
- The Practice Test is to help children settle before the Main Test begins on the day of the test.
- The Practice Test will not be assessed, therefore any correct answers in this section do not count towards the total.
- 5 English Questions

The Main Test
56 questions which children will have in 60 minutes to complete.
28 English questions, then 28 maths questions.

- English Comprehension: poem, fiction or non-fiction (7 multiple choice & 6 free response questions)
